Ryan Mathews limited role due to Week 3 fumble: Fantasy implications
Ryan Mathews’ limited role during Sunday’s game between the San Diego Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs was due to his costly fumble in Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Head coach Norv Turner apparently takes fumbling pretty seriously. Granted, the Chiefs may have been worn out late in the game, but Mathews looked like the more effective runner on the day. He averaged 4.4 yards per carry compared to 2.6 for Battle. Expect Mathews to eventually take over the role of feature back, though Battle should continue to see touches.
