Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson missed practice on Wednesday, per Chris McCosky. Burleson's absence does not raise any red flags when it comes to his health, as it just appeared to be a day of rest for the veteran. He has been full-go this season for the Lions and is not a danger to miss any time this Sunday.
Nate Burleson misses Wednesday’s practice, fantasy value unscathed
Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson missed Wednesday’s practice. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Burleson has been the clear No. 2 wide out in this pass-heavy Lions offense. There was the assumption that Titus Young might finally emerge opposite Calvin Johnson, but the immature youngster has faced some setbacks that have prevented that from happening.
Fantasy Analysis: Burleson's earned back his fantasy value with Titus Young failing to edge ahead. And with the sort of attention Calvin Johnson has been commanding from defenses, it's opened a lot of opportunities for Burleson. In this high-octane offense, Burleson gets a fair amount of targets and looks from quarterback Matthew Stafford.
The Lions are going to throw 30-50 times per game, which boosts Burleson’s value, especially in PPR leagues. And the fact that their defense has not played well, forcing them to play from behind, also helps in that Burleson is earning points for sixty minutes of play. He is becoming a solid flex option in PPR leagues, but his downside is that he is hit or miss on any given week.
