Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson (lower back) is listed as probable and expected to start the Vikings Week 7 game against the Arizona Cardinals. Simpson has only played in one complete game this season, missing the first three games of the season while on suspension. Simpson caught four passes for fifty yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 4, but was limited to just 24 snaps the next week against the Tennessee Titans.
Jerome Simpson probable for Week 7, but still a fantasy risk
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson is probable for the Vikings Week 7 game against the Arizona Cardinals. We discuss the fantasy impact.

His lower back issue, which caused numbness in his legs surfaced during the Tennessee game. He caught zero passes against the Titans and was unable to play last week against the Washington Redskins. Simpson has been a full participant in practice every day this week and looks ready to go.
Fantasy Impact: As mentioned, Simpson has only played in one full game for the Vikings this season, so it’s hard to know how he is going to fit into the offense. He will be starting, but could need time to find his place in the offense.
Given that he hasn't made an impact this season and could be matched up against Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, it is best to keep Simpson on your bench unless there are no other options.
