On Sunday, Nelson was challenged by the St. Louis Rams and their new cornerback tandem, made of Cortland Finnegan and Janoris Jenkins. Nelson finished with 8 receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown as the Pack went on to win, improving to 4-3 on the season.
Fantasy Analysis: Nelson has been a favorite target of the Packers QB and reigning league MVP. This certainly bodes well for Nelson’s fantasy value. He and Rodgers have developed a strong connection that’s led to a lot of big wins as of recent. And by looking at Nelson’s stat-line on Sunday, it’s clear to see he’s dominant in all fantasy aspects.
In PPR leagues, he is a threat to rack up points, having hauled in 8 passes just this Sunday. He will also break 100 yards and find the end zone. Nelson is a week-to-week must-start, no matter the match-up.
