Green Bay Packers running back James Starks is expected to be a part of the gameplan in week 5 according to Mike McCarthy, after having missed the first four games with a toe injury. "This is the week we want (Starks) to push through and see if we can get him the ball," McCarthy said Wednesday. Starks was basically co-leading rusher of the Packers in 2011 with Ryan Grant but has been firmly displaced this season by the veteran Cedric Benson.
James Starks back in the fold, still off the fantasy radar
James Starks will be in the Packers gameplan for week 5, but how much? We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Take: McCarthy has not typically run an offense that gives fantasy owners anything to care about in the running department and Starks getting back on the field only further hampers Benson’s fantasy value while doing nothing to improve Starks. It’s likely that he could see five touches or so and if he succeeds, perhaps being in a full ball-share with Benson who is only averaging 3.6 yards per carry.
