Rashard Mendenhall will make his season debut for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday after a torn ACL last January put him on a lengthy rehabilitation program. The Steelers hope that Mendenhall's return will provided a spark to a running game that ranks 31st in the league with 65.0 yards per game, and last averaging 2.6 yards per carry.
Rashard Mendenhall looking to rescue Steelers’ running game, and fantasy value
Rashard Mendenhall will look to resuscitate an ailing Steelers’ running game when he makes his season debut in Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The Steelers haven't indicated yet how carries will be split among Mendenhall, Jonathan Dwyer and Isaac Redman. Considering how the latter two have performed, it would not be a shock if Mendenhall took on a full load. Still, playing in his first game action in some time and going up against a stout Philadelphia Eagles defensive front, you should hopefully have better fantasy options available. Then again, if a bye week is really pinching down on you then Mendenhall is at least viable this week.
