St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is active and set to start on Thursday night against the Cardinals, calming any concerns that the veteran back would not be able to play with a sore groin. However, this news does not really come as any surprise since Jackson has regularly been resting in practices this season and doesn't need as much practice to be ready for game day, even if game day comes early this week. Jackson is off to a slow start with only 195 yards in four games, lessening his chances of an eighth straight 1,000 yard season.
Steven Jackson active for Thursday night, fantasy owners can set their lineups
Rams running back Steven Jackson is set to go for tonight’s game against Arizona. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Take: The Cardinals run defense is fairly good this year. Despite being 14th in total rushing yards against, they are 10th in yards per carry allowed and have allowed just one rushing touchdown. With Daryl Richardson possibly getting more time, Jackson should be a considered a flex play at best.
