The Cardinals saw second-year running back Ryan Williams leave early in Thursday night’s matchup with the Rams. After taking a big hit from safety Darian Stewart, Williams exited the game and later walked back to the locker room with what is now being called a left shoulder injury.
Ryan Williams Leaves Early With Injury Against Rams, Fantasy Value On The Decline
Ryan Williams made an early exit with an injury on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The good news is Williams walked off on his own power after lying on the field for a couple minutes. Another plus for fantasy owners, if true the injury report proves accurate, is that he didn’t suffer a concussion after the nasty hit to the head. Williams carried the ball 14 times for a dismal 33 yards against a defense that allowed 135.3 yards rushing per game the past four weeks. He still owns the workload in the backfield if he’s healthy, but the performance was unimpressive all around. Check on his status going forward.
