San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree had a stellar performance in Week 5. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Crabtree had a stout performance, looking like quarterback Alex Smith's go-to-guy. Crabtree was moving the chains, getting open and fighting hard for extra yards. He was playing inspired football, looking like former NFC West wide out Anquan Boldin. Crabtree seems to have some emerging fantasy value and if you own him, he would provide a great flex. if he can keep up this momentum, Crabtree will show his value in PPR leagues as well. There is some inherent risk starting him because of San Francisco's tendency to game plan around the run.
