Wes Welker was spotted walking through the New England Patriots locker room, and the ankle tweak he suffered last week does not appear to be a major issue, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston. Welker has said as much, indicating in the beginning of the week that the injury suffered against the St. Louis Rams should be okay after the team's Week 9 bye.
Wes Welker injury: Ankle tweak does not appear serious, improving fantasy outlook
Wes Welker was spotted walking through the Patriots locker room, and his ankle injury from last week does not appear to be an issue. We break down the fantasy implications.

Welker came up limping in the fourth quarter after being tackled after five-yard gain. He did not return the game, but was seen walking up and down the sideline after getting his ankle taped.
Fantasy Impact: The upcoming bye week hopefully means Welker won’t miss any playing time. The ankle injury does not sound very serious, so there is a chance he could have played if there was a game this week. Fantasy owners should check back on injury reports next week, but there does not appear to be anything to worry about.
Welker has been his usual prolific self for the most part this season. He was targeted 10 or more time in five straight games from Week 2 to Week 6. His last two outings have been relatively pedestrian (six catches, 66 yards and six catches, 48 yards) but that shouldn’t stop you from keeping him in your starting lineup.
