Ray Rice could see a larger workload over the coming weeks. According to the Carroll County Times, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh would like to incorporate the running game even more into the offensive gameplan. The Ravens have been employing an up-tempo pass-happy scheme this season, and after some early success the passing game is beginning to sputter with Joe Flacco at quarterback.
Ray Rice fantasy prospects improve as Ravens go run-heavy on offense
Ray Rice could see an even bigger workload over the second half of the season as the Ravens look to shift to a more run-heavy offense. We break down the fantasy implications.

Harabaugh also said he would like to involve fullback Vonta Leach and rookie backup running back Bernard Pierce even more within the offense. Pierce has been particularly effective this season, rushing for 122 yards on 23 carries.
Fantasy Impact: Rice owners have to be ecstatic at the news. The diminutive back has been a consistent fantasy producer this season despite seeing fewer carries than many would like. He could see his numbers take a big jump over the second half of the season, much like they did in 2011.
Continue starting Rice on a weekly basis, and keep an eye on Pierce. Though we will have to wait and see, it would be interesting if the Ravens wind up resembling something like the 2011 Houston Texans, when Ben Tate was a viable fantasy option despite playing behind Arian Foster.
