Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jonathan Dwyer (quad) returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday, reports Mike Bires. Dwyer sat out Wednesday's practice, but he told reporters that he expects to start against the New York Giants.
Jonathan Dwyer expects to start in Week 9: Fantasy implications
Jonathan Dwyer returned to practice on Thursday and expects to play this week. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) also limited in action this week, Bires speculates that Isaac Redman could get the start if Dwyer is less than 100%.
Fantasy Impact: I don’t know how solid Bires’ speculation is, but I suspect that would be a wrong-headed move. Redman has been thoroughly unimpressive in limited action, while Dwyer has taken the workhorse opportunity and run with it. He has 229 rushing yards in the last two games.
Assuming Dwyer is ready to go, I expect the Steelers to keep riding the hot hand here, and so should fantasy owners. He’s an appealing RB2/flex play against the Giants.
