Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells (turf toe) may be one of the first significant names to benefit from the new 'eligible to return' tags given to players on injured reserve this season. Wells has missed six games with injury but can be activated in time for Week 12 against the St. Louis Rams.
Beanie Wells IR update: On track to play in Week 12, fantasy owners should take notice
Unfortunately, the Cardinals still have a porous offensive line. We break down the fantasy implications.

Wells has been practicing with the team since last week and is ‘on track’ to return next Sunday.
Fantasy Take: He had some great games in 2011, but has not been consistent. On top of that, many experts rank the Cardinals with the worst offensive line in football, paving the way for a league-worst 3.4 yards per carry. Wells has not shown in his career that he’s the kind of back that can overcome such terrible blocking, and was only averaging 2.6 yards per carry before the injury.
