Philip Rivers connected with Malcom Floyd for a perfect 13-yard touchdown grab in the third quarter to extend San Diego's lead. Floyd finished with four receptions for 48 yards and his first score since Week 1 of the regular season.
Malcom Floyd scores to salvage fantasy day against Chiefs
Malcom Floyd scored for the first time since Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

Floyd caught every pass that came his way. He was second in targets, only behind Ronnie Brown on the night.
Fantasy Impact: We’ve seen a few big games from Floyd throughout the first half of the season, but scoring hasn’t been his strong suit. Rivers looking for him in the red zone bodes well for his value going forward.
It's clear Floyd has the best chemistry with his quarterback out of any Chargers receiver. Hopefully the connection can continue to produce solid numbers against Tampa Bay's poor pass defense next weekend.
