Robert Meachem, Eddie Royal close to returning: Fantasy implications
Robert Meachem and Eddie Royal are close to returning to play with the San Diego Chargers, according to reports. We break down the fantasy implications.

Meachem has been dealing with a hamstring injury since Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. Royal hasn't played since Week 6 due to a hamstring injury of his own.
Fantasy Impact: The passing game functioned just fine without Meachem and Royal on Thursday, with Philip Rivers going 18-for-20 passing for 220 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Granted, the Chargers were playing a listless Kansas City Chiefs defense, but San Diego has been just fine without major contributions from the two wideouts throughout the season.
Meachem has just 12 receptions for 189 yards and two touchdowns in seven games played this season. Royal has been even worse. Unless you are in a deeper fantasy league, you are better off leaving both players on waivers or on your bench.
