Donald Brown is active for Sunday's game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Miami Dolphins, according to Albert Breer of NFL.com. Earlier in the day, it was reported that Brown would not play due to swelling in his injured knee.
Donald Brown ruled active by Colts: Fantasy value may still be limited
Donald Brown has been marked active for Sunday’s game between the Colts and the Dolphins despite a knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

While the earlier report turned out to be inaccurate, it still remains to be seen just how big a workload Brown will be able to handle. Vick Ballard is expected to start the game.
Fantasy Impact: Both running backs are risky starting fantasy options this week, going up against a Dolphins defense giving up a league-low 3.5 yards per carry on the ground. Of the two, Ballard is probably the safer option, however.
The fact that reporters were so certain Sunday morning that Brown would not play does not bode well for his health. There is a chance he comes on the field sparingly to spell Ballard.
