The Lions have gone from Jahvid Best to Kevin Smith to Mikel Leshoure and Joique Bell over the last year. Detroit is 22nd in rushing this season and have used Smith, Leshoure, and Bell this year while waiting to see if Best would be able to return from his concussion.
Mikel Leshoure scores LeSecond touchdown of the day
Lions can get comfortable with yet another running back.

Smith struggled in the beginning of the year with Leshoure suspended for the first two games, and then Leshoure struggled with fumbles and inconsistency in the last five games. If Sunday is any indication, Leshoure won’t be losing the starting job any time soon.
Leshoure ran for 44 yards and two touchdowns in the second quarter against the Jaguars and is the early leading-scorer for fantasy owners in Week 9. Bell has five carries for 11 yards and Smith has two carries for just three yards. There's nothing indicating right now that Leshoure is anything but the main back in Detroit. Fantasy owners can rest easy on Leshoure for now, though he does have an injury history.
Update: Leshoure now has 52 yards and three touchdowns in the second quarter. Touchdown Lethird.
