Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) and Jonathan Dwyer (quad) are both out against the Giants for Sunday. Isaac Redman is active and will be the starter for the Steelers.
Rashard Mendenhall and Jonathan Dwyer both out, Isaac Redman to start and is a fantasy option
Should you consider Isaac Redman as a fantasy option?

Redman has been pathetic so far this year with a poultry 2.6 yard-per-carry average. Meanwhile, Dwyer has been ripping off runs and is more than double that clip in his action.
The Steelers are likely going to need to air it out a little bit with the ineffectiveness of Redman. Redman has been useful in the passing game, but Chris Rainey is also expected to see his fair share of touches. The Giants are ranked 19th against the run and they've shown some improvement in stopping teams with their exceptional pass rush..
Redman is more of a flex play this week and he might be able to turn 15 carries into some solid production. Owners in deep leagues could also consider Rainey and it wouldn’t be a shock to see him get a double-digit touch load either.
