Bilal Powell injury update: Fantasy value on the rise
Bilal Powell is expected to play for the Jets on Sunday against the Cardinals despite being listed on the team’s injury report with a shoulder injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Powell has been taking on an ever-increasing role within the Jets offense in recent weeks. He has 23 carries for 82 yards and three touchdowns over his last two outings.
Fantasy Impact: Shonn Greene is still the primary ball carrier in New York, but barely. He has 32 carries for 135 yards over the same two-game stretch, but hasn't been able to find the end zone. The fact that Powell is seeing more touches near the end zone makes him the better fantasy option at the moment.
Both backs could struggle against a Cardinals defense giving up 4.2 yards per carry on the season. They have allowed just five rushing touchdowns on the year, which hurts Powell’s value in particular. He should be considered a Flex option at best in standard leagues.
