The Chargers offense doesn’t look good these days, and Ryan Mathews is included in those struggles. He rushed for just 26 yards on nine carries in Week 13, also catching three passes for 25 yards on seven targets.
Ryan Mathews still not living up to fantasy expectations
Ryan Mathews struggled again on the ground in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

Mathews averaged a measly 2.9 yards per carry against the Bengals.
Fantasy Impact: Given the fact that some analysts projected Mathews as one of the top running backs in 2012, it’s hard to take him seriously at this point. He still only has one touchdown all year. That’s not what owners were anticipating from a top 10 draft pick in some leagues.
The Chargers will take on the Steelers next week. You can probably feel safer with Mathews on your bench.
