Julian Edelman on crutches, loses fantasy value
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman left the locker room on crutches and in a walking boot. We break down the fantasy implications.

Edelman had been emerging as one of the Patriots top receiving options over the past few weeks. He had two receiving touchdowns and a punt return for a touchdown in the two games prior to the game against the Dolphins.
Fantasy Impact: For a time it looked like Edelman was going to be the second best receiving option on the Patriots behind Wes Welker, but this injury could derail that progress.
It is still unclear what Edelman’s exact injury is, but crutches and a boot are not a good sign. Keep an eye on him, but don’t count on him to be a part of your lineup next week.
