Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart said his ankle is getting better, but gave no update on when he'd be ready to return to the lineup. Stewart injured his ankle in the Panthers' Week 12 win over the Philadelphia Eagles and was unavailable to play against the Chiefs last week.
Jonathan Stewart’s ankle improving, fantasy status uncertain
Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart said his ankle is getting better, but he has no timetable for a return. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stewart, and the entire Panthers running game, has struggled this season. Stewart has 93 carries for 336 yards and one touchdown and 17 receptions for 157 yards and one touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: Stewart has not made much of an impact in the world of fantasy this season as both he and DeAngelo Williams have struggled when healthy.
With Stewart out, Williams should see a few more carries, but neither running back has proven to be reliable fantasy option this season.
