Jonathan Dwyer will remain the starter at running back in Week 14 for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the San Diego Chargers, head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Tuesday. It is unclear whether Rashard Mendenhall will come off the bench, or remain a healthy scratch as he was last week against the Baltimore Ravens.
Jonathan Dwyer remains Steelers starter: Fantasy implications
Jonathan Dwyer will remain the Steelers’ starter at running back, head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Tuesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

“Rashard will get an opportunity to redeem himself at some point,” Tomlin said. “Not now.”
Fantasy Impact: Dwyer was moderately effective against the Ravens, picking up 49 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Isaac Redman had 43 yards on nine carries, aided by a 24-yard run late in the game, as Dwyer's backup. At this point, Dwyer should be considered a Flex option at best, especially with Redman also taking on a significant role.
As for Mendenhall, it appears he is still paying the toll for losing two fumbles in Week 12 against the Cleveland Browns. He should be on your bench, but is worth stashing in case he is the starting job back late in the season.
