Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson have participated in practice throughout the week for the Oakland Raiders, and are expected to play Thursday against the Denver Broncos, according to Paul Gutierrez of CSN Bay Area. Both backs have been sidelined for the last four games due to ankle injuries.
Darren McFadden, Mike Goodson practicing for Raiders during short week: Fantasy implications
Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson are practicing for the Raiders in preparation for Thursday night’s game against the Broncos. We break down the fantasy implications.

Marcel Reece has been the Raiders' workhorse in recent weeks, with 456 total yards from scrimmage over his last four games. It is unclear how carries will be split with McFadden and Goodson back in the lineup.
Fantasy Impact: It’s unlikely that Reece will be relegated to the sideline entirely with McFadden back, but his fantasy value certainly takes a major hit. It’s hard to tell who to like as a starting fantasy option between Reece and McFadden, especially since the Raiders’ offense doesn’t appear to be strong enough to support two successful running backs.
If you need to pick one, roll with Reece simply because he is healthier and has been more productive recently. It helps that he can get a lot of receptions of the Raiders fall behind. He shouldn’t be considered more than a Flex option, however.
