49ers coach Jim Harbaugh says WR Mario Manningham will makes his debut for San Francisco on Saturday against the Houston Texans. Manningham was held out of the preseason opener against Minnesota but seems to have developed a chemistry with Alex Smith in training camp. Manningham made just 39 catches in the 2011 regular season but made arguably the biggest catch of the Super Bowl for the New York Giants.
Mario Manningham To Play Versus Texans: Fantasy Implications
Mario Manningham is set to make his 49ers debut on Saturday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: The 49ers have to have fairly high hopes for Manningham as they look to improve their passing game from last season. Manningham is still fairly young (26) and had nearly 1,000 yards receiving in 2010. The problem for fantasy owners is that he plays a crowded position for a team that is still very much a run-first offense. He could be a solid late-round selection, especially if he and Smith start clicking as the preseason goes along.
