Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford had a positive showing on Friday night against the Baltimore Ravens defense. In only two and a half quarters of play, Stafford went 12-of-17 for 184 and two touchdowns against one of the leagues' top defensive units. Stafford's rocket arm and rapport with one of the league's top offensive weapons, Calvin Johnson, seems to be a positive for the Lions QB.
Lions QB Matthew Stafford On Target Vs. Ravens: Fantasy Implications
Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford had an encouraging outing against one of the league’s best defenses on Friday night when Detroit took on Baltimore. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Stafford’s stock has elevated after not only remaining healthy in 2011, but having an awfully productive season. The Detroit Lions throw more than most NFL teams, and their offensive prides themselves on being able to put points on the board through their aerial assault. Calvin Johnson certainly boosts Stafford draft value with his dominance at the wide receiver position. Stafford could be in for another 5,000-plus yard season in 2012 with hopefully a better TD-INT ratio. For those interested in the Lions QB, it might be good to know that he might not make it past the mid-second round in most fantasy leagues.
