Cardinals Kevin Kolb Continues Rough Preseason Against Raiders: Fantasy Implications

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb continued his rocky preseason against the Oakland Raiders on Friday night. Kolb completed only 50% of his passes, going 3-for-6 for 22 yards with no touchdowns. He was also sacked for a safety by Raider defensive lineman Tommy Kelly.

Analysis: Kolb has not shown any signs of being a capable starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. While Kolb displayed inefficiency, John Skelton went 3-for-3 for 23 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions. As it stands, it's Skelton's job to lose and with little time remaining for Kolb to make such a grand statement, he will likely be playing second-fiddle to Skelton come Week 1. Kolb will not be worth owning in any fantasy leagues, but on the other hand, Skelton could benefit from Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd, proving to be a decent bench QB.
