Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak said on Saturday that quarterback Jake Locker is still in the running to be the starter even after his poor performance against the Buccaneers on Friday. Locker was 4-of-11 for 21 yards, 0 TD and 1 INT, including a poor attempt to throw across the field and across his body which resulted in the interception. Matt Hasselbeck was 4-of-5 in relief of Locker in the Titans 30-7 win over Tampa Bay.
Jake Locker Could Still Start: Fantasy Implications
Jake Locker hurt himself in the Titans QB competition, but Mike Munchak insists the battle isn’t over yet. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: The Titans play the Cardinals on Thursday and while Arizona's news is that John Skelton will be starting, it's also expected that whoever Munchak names as the starter for the game will also be the starter in week one. Hasselbeck appears to be the favorite right now, but these things can change with one great or terrible performance by either. If Hasselbeck is named the starter, he's not worth drafting, but if Locker is starting he has a certain ability to score touchdowns and gain yards even if he might not give the Titans the best chance to win.
