Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, who just signed his franchise tender yesterday, will not be playing tonight against the St. Louis Rams. The news is not unexpected but a veteran like Bowe could be ready to make his 2012 debut next week against the Seahawks.
Dwayne Bowe Will Not Debut Tonight: Fantasy Implications
Dwayne Bowe will not debut tonight against the Rams. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: Holdouts rarely last into the regular season, but it’s nice to know that Bowe is signed and that he’ll get a couple of weeks to prepare for week one. Bowe caught 81 passes for 1,159 yards last season despite spending a significant amount of time without Matt Cassell and is usually a guarantee for solid numbers and in 2010 he exploded for 15 touchdowns. I would not expect anything like that again, but 80 catches, 1,000 yards, and 10 touchdowns is perfectly reasonable for a player of Bowe’s standards.
