Rams wide receivers Brandon Gibson and Danario Alexander are among the inactives for the St. Louis Rams tonight against the Kansas City Chiefs. Both players are fighting to make the final 53-man roster but aren't healthy enough to return for tonight's preseason game. Starting center Scott Wells is also out.
Brandon Gibson, Danario Alexander Inactive For Rams: Fantasy Implications
Brandon Gibson and Danario Alexander are out for the Rams game against the Chiefs tonight. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: The Rams still lack a proven number one wide receiver. After not re-signing their leading receiver Brandon Lloyd in the offseason, it's even worse news for Sam Bradford that he's so far without the Rams second and third-leading receivers in Gibson and Alexander (both had 431 yards.) Bradford has gotten Danny Amendola back after he had missed all of 2011, but they'll really need another player to step up if they're going to climb out of the offensive cellar. The absence of Gibson and Alexander will give rookies Chris Givens and Brian Quick an opportunity to step up and show what they can do. For now, I can't say that any of them are worth drafting in fantasy.
