Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter says there is no reason to worry about the limited number of carries so far for running back Michael Turner this preseason. Turner has just 14 yards on eight carries through two exhibition games, but Koetter says he often doesn't worry about the running game in the preseason because there is no reason to get running backs beat up in games that don't count. The Falcons play the Miami Dolphins on Friday.
Michael Turner, Falcons Coaches Not Worried About RB’s Limited Reps: Fantasy Implications
Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner has had limited carries this preseason, but his new offensive coordinator isn’t worried. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: The Falcons already plan to reduce the number of carries this season for Turner, especially with Matt Ryan having Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez and Julio Jones to target in a new offense. Turner still figures to be a solid No. 2 fantasy back this season and will get chances around the goal line. Turner has had more than 300 carries in three of his four seasons in Atlanta and should be an important part of the offense.
