Washington Redskins running back Roy Helu has been working through tendinitis in both of his Achilles tendons over the preseason, but is hopeful that he'll be back at full strength soon: "The left one’s getting better. Everything’s becoming more – not as tight. I’m not sure what the word is, but it’s got more bounce in it." No word on when he'll make a full return to practice.
Roy Helu Optimistic About Tendonitis: Fantasy Implications
Roy Helu is optimistic that his recent tendinitis struggles will be okay. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: Helu is going to be fighting for carries this season against Evan Royster, Tim Hightower and possibly a surprise like Alfred Morris. It's uncertain if Helu will be able to play in their upcoming game, which is only going to open the door for a player like Royster to win the job outright headed into the season. Helu had 1,019 total yards as a rookie last year, but head coach Mike Shanahan will give playing time to whichever running back he likes the most that day. It's an unpredictable situation.
