Kevin Smith is expected to have a tough time keeping the starting running back job for the Detroit Lions once Mikel Leshoure returns from his suspension, according to The Detroit Free Press. Smith scored two touchdowns on Sunday, including the game-winning 5-yard catch with 10 seconds remaining. He finished with 62 yards rushing on 13 carries and 29 yards receiving.

Fantasy Impact: The return of Leshoure is something for fantasy owners to worry about in Week 3. If Leshoure is available, Smith owners may want to grab him off the waiver wire just to be ready. Fantasy owners should consider him a solid option in Week 2 as a No. 2 running back or a flex play as he will again see the bulk of the carries.
