Atlanta Falcons cornerback Brent Grimes is out for the season with an Achilles injury. Grimes, who made the Pro Bowl in 2010, left Sunday's win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth quarter with what described as a calf injury. The Falcons placed the franchise tag on Grimes before the season, ensuring that he would make more than $10 million in 2012. However, the two sides were never able to work out a long-term contract.
