Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jonathan Dwyer was held out practice on Wednesday with a foot injury (via Ed Bouchette). The Steelers have been rotating backs, and Dwyer was possibly in line to get more touches in Week 2 against the New York Jets. Before this news broke, there was reason to be high on Dwyer as he looked to have outplayed Isaac Redman.
Jonathan Dwyer Misses Practice With Foot Injury, Fantasy Owners Use Caution
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jonathan Dwyer missed practice on Wednesday with a foot injury. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Dwyer appears to be potential fantasy sleeper if he can be healthy. He does look like the better runner in Pittsburgh’s backfield, but owners must use caution. When it comes to injuries, players that don’t practice typically don’t play. Dwyer has not been ruled out but his status must be monitored carefully if you intend on starting him. If Dwyer cannot go, Isaac Redman is a way to go as his fantasy value in Week 2 would increase.
