San Francisco 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs did not participate in Wednesday's practice in Santa Clara. The veteran tailback is continuing to rehab a knee injury he suffered in the preseason. He signed with the team this offseason with the hope to provide a punch behind Frank Gore.
Brandon Jacobs Remains Inactive: Fantasy Implications
San Francisco 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs remains inactive for the team. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Brandon Jacobs may provide a decent flex option similar to Chicago's Michael Bush somewhere down the line, but he is not yet good to go. Behind Frank Gore, it looks like second-year player Kendall Hunter will be the primary relief back Sunday night against the Detroit Lions. Feel free to start Hunter in league's as a handcuff to Gore.
