Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount was cleared to return to practice after an MRI revealed he only had a stinger and nothing more serious. It's likely that Blount will be cleared to play n Sunday against the Giants, but may not see much action behind Doug Martin anyhow after the rookie rushed for rushed for 95 yards in a week 1 victory over the Panthers.
LeGarrette Blount Cleared To Practice, Fantasy Value Still Low
Tampa Bay Bucs running back LeGarrette Blount has been cleared to practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: It’s good news for Blount to get positive results from his MRI, but should not affect anyone’s chances of starting him in fantasy football since he was already a must-sit after losing the bulk of work to Martin. Blount was very inconsistent and mostly unproductive during 2011, his first as starter, and Martin has proven highly capable in the early going. Blount would only be a deep bench spot in a deep league.
