Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton suffered what looked to be a devastating ankle injury on Sunday against the Seahawks, but head coach Ken Whisenhunt said on Wednesday that he has not yet ruled out the QB for the start against the Patriots in week 2. After Skelton came out of the game, backup Kevin Kolb led the Cards on a game-winning 80-yard touchdown drive. Skelton did not practice Wednesday.
John Skelton Not Ruled Out For Sunday, Fantasy Status In Limbo
John Skelton is still not ruled out to start Sunday against the Patriots according to Ken Whisenhunt. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Skelton had moments of good and terrible on Sunday before leaving with the injury that looked like it could keep the QB out for 2-4 weeks. Keeping an eye on the injury report will be important for fantasy owners in deep leagues or 2-QB leagues, but neither one should be of high value this week, even against the soft pass defense of the Patriots.
