Philadelphia Eagles running back Bryce Brown could get an opportunity for more playing time, offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said Thursday. Mornhinweg told reporters that he thinks highly of Brown and that he has earned the opportunity to play. Brown and Dion Lewis are the backup running backs behind workhorse LeSean McCoy.

Beat reporters have noted Brown’s improvement and Lewis has been slowed by a hamstring injury. Coach Andy Reid this week stopped short of naming a No. 2 running back, but Brown remains a name to keep in mind should something happen to McCoy.
