Washington Redskins rookie running back Alfred Morris says he could of rushed for even more yards in Week 1 if he'd just done a better job of picking his cutback lanes. Morris said Thursday (via The Washington Post) said that was part of the reason he struggled early in the game but felt confident that things were going to start working in the second half. He finished with 96 yards and two touchdowns last weekend against the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners have reason to be suspicious about these numbers. Just because a back had 28 carries in Week 1, there are no assurances in a Mike Shanahan offense that this is going to happen again in Week 2. Morris should be considered a solid No. 3 running back of flex play in most leagues until it’s proven that he will be the primary RB in Washington.
