Detroit Lions running back Mikel LeShoure is currently serving a two-game suspension for off-season marijuana violations, but the team is working him hard in preparation for his week 3 return against the Titans. LeShoure is unable to practice with the team until after their week 2 game against the 49ers, but he's been working with trainers and staff in preparation for his NFL debut. The second-year back missed all of 2011 with a torn Achilles.
Mikel LeShoure Ready To Get Back On Field, Increase Fantasy Value
The Lions are preparing for the return of Mikel LeShoure from suspension next week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: It seems like the Lions would like to use a combination of LeShoure and Kevin Smith starting next week, though they are not much of a running team. This could significantly downgrade Smith's value after he totaled over 91 yards and two touchdowns against the Rams, to see LeShoure begin to steal carries on a team that doesn't run the ball nearly as much as they throw it. Both may also have to face a possible midseason return of Jahvid Best, who should be the primary back if and when he's healthy.
