San Francisco 49ers wide receiver and kick returner Ted Ginn Jr. (ankle) missed another practice on Thursday and is not likely to play on Sunday Night Football against the Lions. Neither is running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) both of whom have been out for a considerable amount of time with their respective injuries. Ginn's absence will put Kyle Williams back on punt return duty, while Kendall Hunter will serve as Frank Gore's main backup again and possibly returning kicks.
Brandon Jacobs, Ted Ginn Miss More Practice, Fantasy Value Transferred To Other 49ers
49ers Ted Ginn Jr and Brandon Jacobs missed another practice and are unlikely to suit up this week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: This should be another big week for Gore, who rushed for 112 yards on only 16 carries against the Packers in week 1. Hunter had nine carries in relief and one kick return, while Williams had one punt return for 20 yards. Without Jacobs in to steal goal line carries, Gore is an easy RB1 again this week.
