Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson feels much better at this point in the week than he did after the first game of the season, according to coach Leslie Frazier. The coach said Wednesday in his conference call with San Francisco 49ers reporters that the concern has been how Peterson is responding to contact that he didn't get in training camp, but "so far, so good."

Fantasy Impact: Peterson has a touch matchup this week because of the 49ers defense but fantasy owners have to be pleased that he’s feeling better. Peterson had 60 yards on 16 carries last week and should be considered a No. 1 or No. 2 fantasy running back this week.
