New York Giants wide receiver Ramses Barden is expected to start on Thursday against the Carolina Panthers in place of the injured Hakeem Nicks, according to The Newark Star-Ledger. Barden saw an increase in playing time last week when the team's No. 3 receiver Domenik Hixon was injured. Nicks had 10 catches for 199 yards in Week 2 against Tampa Bay but did not make the trip to Carolina.
Ramses Barden Expected To Start In Place Of Hakeem Nicks: Fantasy Implications
New York Giants wide receiver Ramses Barden is expected to start on Thursday in place of the injured Hakeem Nicks. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Without Nicks, expect Carolina's defense to try and clamp down on Victor Cruz and tight end Martellus Bennett in the passing game. This could lead to some chances for Barden but he's not worth adding to fantasy rosters at this point. Even with extra defensive attention, expect Cruz and Bennett to see most of Eli Manning's passes.
