Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart is unlikely to play tonight according to an unnamed source that spoke to Pro Football Talk. Not much else is known about the accuracy of the information and where it came from, but it's enough to assume that Stewart could be out against the Giants tonight. Stewart was considered questionable with an ankle injury. He missed week 1 but played in week 2 and had 11 carries for 51 yards and a receiving touchdown. It now appears that he may miss another game.
Jonathan Stewart Unlikely To Play Tonight According To ‘Source’, No Fantasy Value
Jonathan Stewart appears to be on his way to not playing in tonight’s game against the Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: This should be enough info to get Stewart out of your lineups if you have to do it early, but the official injury report will come out soon and we will know for sure if he is active tonight. If Stewart is out, it should increase the value of DeAngelo Williams as the sole running back, though he struggled in week 1 without him.
