San Francisco 49ers Ted Ginn Jr (ankle) and Brandon Jacobs (knee) will miss a third straight game to start the year with their respective injuries. The two were listed as questionable this week but now are assured to sit on the sidelines again. Also inactive will be rookies A.J. Jenkins and LaMichael James, two players that have not been able to step up and prove ready to contribute at their crowded positions, even in the wake of those injuries.
Ted Ginn Jr, Brandon Jacobs Inactive Again, No Fantasy Value
Brandon Jacobs and Ted Ginn Jr are inactive for San Francisco again. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Kendall Hunter will take kick duties from Ginn and backup carries from Jacobs, but so far through two games he has not been worthy a fantasy roster spot. Kyle Williams will take punt return duties, but also not worth a roster spot in your league. These two injuries have lingered a lot longer than expected, and it's hard to say when they'll step on a field again.
