After a relatively slow start to the 2012 season, to say Jamaal Charles broke out on Sunday would be an understatement. Kansas City's premier back carried the ball 33 times for 233 yards and a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. He also had six receptions for 55 yards, nearing 300 all-purpose yards by himself.
Jamaal Charles Has Monster Day, Fantasy Value Booming
Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles had a monster day against the New Orleans Saints. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Charles totaled 288 yards on 39 touches in the Chiefs' OT win over the Saints. Peyton Hillis was limited in the game, allowing Charles to see significant time and find his rhythm on offense. He was able to greatly contribute against a suspect Saints defense. Charles had a monster day, probably his biggest of the season, so beyond this, just hope for consistency week-to-week. This is also a great sign for owners who gambled on Charles' ability to make a recovery from his ACL injury -- now finding out they may have gotten a steal after the first round.
