Quarterback David Garrard practiced with the Miami Dolphins on Monday, Ben Volin of The Palm Beach Post reports. Garrard, who was brought in to compete for the starting job with rookie Ryan Tannehill and Matt Moore, missed the preseason because of a knee injury. Tannehill is the starter for Week 1, but the team almost certainly isn't going to keep both Garrard and Moore as backups.
David Garrard Practices Monday With Dolphins, Fantasy Value Remains Minimal
Miami Dolphins quarterback David Garrard practiced Monday after missing the entire preseason with a knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Garrard or Moore will be an insurance policy for Tannehill, who was named the starter during the preseason. Before his injury, Garrard had been listed as the No. 1 quarterback on the depth chart, so he figures to have a chance at being Miami’s No. 2. Moore played well last year for the Dolphins and would figure to land somewhere if he doesn’t stay with the Dolphins. Neither Garrard nor Moore have any value for fantasy owners at this point.
