Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will be a game-time decision, according to coach Leslie Frasier. Peterson is recovering from a major knee injury and the Vikings have been very cautious with him in practice. The Vikings open the season on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Vikings RB Adrian Peterson Expected To Be A Game-Time Decision: Fantasy Implications
Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frasier says running back Adrian Peterson will “without question” be a game-time decision on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: This isn’t a surprise but it will leave fantasy owners waiting until Sunday to make a decision about Peterson. For Week 1, Peterson should be treated more like a No. 2 back and owners clearly need to have a backup plan in place in case it’s decided that he won’t play. Fantasy owners should play him if they drafted him as a starter, but shouldn’t expect the massive numbers he’s put up in the past right away.
