Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and should be able to start against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Smith had missed most of last month with a foot infection, making his readiness for week one in doubt, but nothing should be holding him back now. He has remained relatively healthy during his career, missing no more than two games in any of the last seven seasons.
Steve Smith Full Participant In Practice, Fantasy Star Should Be Ready
Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith was able to practice without restrictions on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: Smith was the fantasy comeback player of the year in 2011 after recovering from having Jimmy Clausen as his quarterback in 2010. He had 79 catches for 1,394 yards with Cam Newton at the helm and reassured fantasy owners that he's still a number one option. If there is any concern, it's that Smith had just three catches for 41 yards in two games against Tampa Bay last year. Still, he's a must-start in week one.
